    Help Htc hero s signal problems

    I just bought an htc hero s from us cellular a few hours ago and the signal has problems. When it says 3G it has either no bars or one or two. It also sometime vows down from 3G and say it's connected to 1x and I don't know what that means. Do you guys have any way to fix this or have any of you...
