    hello, i just got rooted today. I have a custom rom installed and now i would like to change my lockscreen. if i flash a custom lock screen does it reset the phone just like if you were to flash a custom rom? my rom is nitrous v1.4.4, where would i get a custom lock screen rom?

    I have H-Boot 2.18 with android version 2.3.5, i need help rooting iv tried only one way on some HTC site and well it didn't work.. my android sdk wouldn't install the things it needed, any way is there a way i can root without losing all my contacts,apps,games,settings and things like that...
