Hi guys, so i want to root my sensation xe. I have No idea on what to do and its currently on ICS. My friend tried to root his (he is very good at this stuff) but he stuffed up and said it was hard. it ended up being stuck on an endless boot loop. He took it to vodafone and they fixed it. AFterwards he swapped it with his mum for a Galaxy nexus which he easily rooted and is adding new kernals and stuff. Using quadrant his Nexus scored 3700 and my xe scored 3660 at stock so i am thinking my phone has a lot of potential to beat his. i want to overclock my phone so it will beat his and overall have better speeds. However i am scared i might muck it up. Since HTC don't make the phone anymore im scared vodafone might not be able to fix it and then i lost a magnificent phone. Should i overclock and root? if so please help. Thanks!
