Does the phone work with simple mobile without having to be unlocked?

Hey, I'm in the same boat. Supposedly it will work. I've even got a simple mobile sim, just waiting for next month to start up simple mobile service. I had to wait for the sim in the mail, so my first month I'm using t-mobile with the sim that came with it. Tell you one thing, when I pop the simple mobile sim in it reads it just fine and tells me my network is Simple Mobile...just haven't paid for service yet so haven't been able to test everything out.

You just have to change the APN and your good to go

I just hooked it up today too. Works nice. I love it. Best of all, I can use the mobile hotspot now. Have you tried that yet? I don't plan on using it often, so hopefully they don't give me a hard time about it. I'm happy.
