- Made some changes to hopefully help with the www vs non www problems experienced when clicking around on the site. Problem with it during logging in is not yet resolved.
- Renamed "Tips and Tricks" forum to "Android Lounge", for general Android chat and questions.
- Changed Top 5 stats. Now top 10. Remove hottest and most viewed threads and expand newest/top posters. Team members no longer considered for top posters. Last six months of posting. Feedback on this is welcome.
- Breadcrumbs added to bottom of thread, down under "next/previous thread". Scroll down to see.
- Obtrusive (to mobile viewing) Amazon add removed.

If you are running vbseo it should be fairly easy to nip the www vs no www problem in the bud. Just add a line to htaccess that strips the www and you should be good to go phases.
Might ask on their forums the exact way to do it as to not hurt your seo though. Looks like you are indexed with no www ...which is fine.

They all look good to me ... all improvements for the better IMO

I hate making new threads so ima post this suggestion here.
think about installing the signature once per page mod from vb.org for a few reasons
1. it cleans up the forum
2. with such a busy forum it will really cut down on server loads, ESPECIALLY since we are defaulted to 50 post per page.
(this mod does what it says, shows a users signature one time per page. so in the first 50 posts i posted 10 times my sig shows once therefore lowering load time for the end user and server both)

who are premium members? how does one become a premium member..
Info on this very soon. Day or two. But the vip area at the moment is just an empty forum. Nothing really special about it except that only premium and mods can see it.
cant you go in to the admin panel and set the user titles according to the number of posts they have. im guessing he is making custom usernames a vip addon
Yeah, we did those today. Several have links in them to various places. I won't give them all away though, that's less fun.

I agree. The user titles are dumb. For the record, I was against them. Phases loved them. I let him have his way. Total lameness occurs.

I thought the Titles were going to be changed back in late February(?).. I don't Root, won't Root and don't want to advertise Rooting in my profile.. yet, it's there. Kinda like Facebook handing out personal information, but at least they have a setting to edit content.
I actually liked the defaults.. it should be just a quick change in the Admin CP.

I actually really like the way the titles work now. Sure there are a few that should probably go and maybe some others that could be added (Update what phone you have ) but having new users pointed to the introduction forum and things like that, very clever I thought.

Oh yes, I forgot about that... Yeah probably the easiest thing to do would be to close the forums for maintenance and update the counters in the wee hours of the night.

It looks like you've already started updating the titles. I'm seeing a lot of Member, Junior Member, and Senior Member tiles. Also some who have the other titles..

Huh? I'm confused. ...oh I think I get you.
- It took us six months to actually get the premium thing going. Then once we started, it took weeks to get ready to announce. We didn't just drop everything and up and do it with dollar signs in our eyes.
- As I just said, as intensive as it is, we do these things at night. It's a click of a button. But takes awhile and slows the site to a crawl.
(We also didn't have other rather serious issues we were trying to deal with. But, hey, thanks for the feedback!)
Edit: Just sayin'... you clearly have a misunderstanding of what goes on around here, and how much effort goes into maintaining things. For the general users.
