I've plugged in a 64GB microSD card and it works. I've also used an OTG adapter to plug in a 3TB drive formatted NTFS and that works also.

Except for the really low end white box tablets most any tablet made in 2012 should be able to take a 64GB. Most do not include them in the specs because at the time they were using the hardware but the standard was still USB 2.

What does USB2 have to do with a 64GB micro SDHC? Were you referring to the 3TB external disk?
