Default Apn has blank screen

I have a samsung galaxy note2 and once i click on apn and then click the menu button the only thing it constantly says is "reset to default" and wen i do and reclick it, it still on says reset to default. How do i change my apn if its just a black blank screen?

That sounds like a carrier locked and branded os which has had the "add new apn" option removed. If it has been officially unlocked I would contact the original carrier.
