Default Arc - Hands on

Looks like really smooth phone. Nice big screen, well used and the performance looks slick, even for a pre release build

Yes, enjoyed reading that. A little disappointed to hear that the audio quality is not up to scratch.

Can't wait to get my Arc, but Carphone said I may have to wait till Monday till I get it.

Cnet UK, Endgadget reviews are in. I'm assuming that the phone is available now. Only problem is that I'm not too sure I want Arc now, since its poor battery life

I have ordered the midnight blue. Have been told by Carphone that the phone is not released till Friday, meaning I am not likely to receive it till Monday. The agony of waiting till then is hard to take, especially when I have heard that customers who have made there purchase from SE direct, expansys and I think Clove too will be dispatching the Arc today for delivery tommorrow.

I'm waiting to get my hands on an Arc , but in the mean time I keep seeing the following comments being made about the Arc...

No smart dialing
Display doesn’t have auto brightness control
Display has poor viewing angles
Micro SD card slot is not hot-swappable
No LED notification

can any Arc owners please comment

Thanks

im no owner but ive played with the arc on several occasions, never noticed any led notification, viewing angles are absolutely fine and it defo does have auto brightness, it is very subtle, take 1 into a dark room, then shine a torch, you will see it adjust
