Dismissing alarm issue with arc

When my alarm goes off, and the "snooze/dismiss" pop up is no longer display, is there an alternative to turning it off?

The odd time that i do run into this situation, I end up having to "power off" the phone.

You can pull down the notification bar when the alarm is going off to dismiss the alarm from carrying on.
