Default Camera noise

Maybe just my ocd but I'm just now noticing that when i exit the camera or access the gallery directly from camera view, I can hear a sound coming from camera like a click. It doesn't do this every single time. Sometimes it just exits smoothly with no sounds so its leading me to believe that its not normal.

As I heard, this noise should generated by the phone cam's auto focus. It's mechanics.

Messed around with it a little bit and switched to a different focus mode and now no clicking sound.

Yeah, when I would use the barcode scanner and my camera would keep autofocusing, it would click as well.
