Unable To Access Data Network

Frnds,i bought sony Xperia mini pro sk17i yesterday I have A problem in creating it cant save APN so i requesting apn from BSNL website they sends the APN to my phone i saved it but after rebooting my phone APN got deleted automatically even my phone cant show 3g icon

pls help i m new using android

Do you have any existing APN's installed in the phone at this stage? If so, are you able to delete them if they are not relevant to your network?

hi, i had the exact same prob. do the following to solve it.
1. DISABLE the SIM PIN LOCK from your settings>security&location and than RESTART.
2. Once you do this than you will be able to save the APN either manually or automatically from BSNL.
