As the title really, but also considering an HTC Wildfire s. Does anyone have experience of both. Can you give me pro's and con's for both?

A comparison of the two mobiles at gsmarena: HTC Wildfire S vs. Sony Ericsson Xperia mini - GSMArena.com

I think the mini is better then HTC in every aspect.
It's lighter, crisper display, better GPU, better CPU (1GHz vs 600MHz), 720p video recording, upgradeable to ICS.

Thanks for that, haven't come accross that website before. Not being very phone savvy, the only thing that looks lower on the mini is the GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth. Will this make much difference?

Those are just specs... I don't think you'd notice any difference if you where comparing in real life.
Except maybe bluetooth. 2.1 vs 3.0 is obvious I think....
