I Think you have new ICS 4.0.3 firmware updates are available .. just connect your handset through pc companion internet required it will show latest updates for your mobile. you will get fresh gprs or edge settings if you reset your phone
though at present you just try add new APN manually or reset to default. go to settings wireless and networks, mobile networks ACCESS POINT NAMES.
