Question I have some questions about my Gameboid emu!

Alright so everything is good, got my BIOS and ROM files, I just want to know three things:
1. Does the Gameboid use Data/Internet?
2. Does each game automatically save or will I need to start over with each game?
3. Can I put ROM files from any Gameboy console or does Gameboid only support GBA games?

Thanks for any help you can give

1) no
2) you'll have to save on your own whether it's a save state or in game save
3) but sure, haven't tried.

Gameboid only works with GBA, but there are plenty of Gameboy or Gameboy color emus on the market that will work fine with original Gameboy games.
