I've had a similar issue with my Desire HD. There are a couple of things that you could check... do you have the correct APN's (Access Point Names) for your network? You should be able to get these from your network provider...maybe even in the form of a text message sent from them. It is also worth noting that MMS only works with a data connection (AFAIK
it doesn't work if you are trying to download pictures over Wifi).
