Default Xperia Play Screen Not Working...

This Problem started fairly recently. Whenever I slide out the game pad, the screen turns off, but then when I slide it back in, the screen works perfectly fine. A few days later I noticed that the screen is not actually off when I slide it out, the brightness is so dim that I can barely see the screen. I can even unlock my phone if I try. So my questions are: Has this happened to anyone else? What do I do? Should I replace the screen?

Again.. this only happens when I slide the psp game pad out.... Other than that, the phone work fine.

With the information provided, I suggest you take the handset to a service centre for repairs as this sounds like hardware.

I suggest you contact Sony Xperia Support within your region.

Let me know how this works out.
