Hi, I have recently bought an Xperia Ray. The problem with the phone is that sometimes it just freezes when I try to take a photo or use the digital zoom on the camera. I have to take out the battery to start the phone. I have already resofted the phone once, to see if the problem will go away, but it hasn't. Could it be a mechanical problem or should I wait for the new android to appear to see if that will solve my problem?

Since you tried resetting the phone but didn't help the I'd suggest to try the Repair Phone option on PC Companion to see if helps you solve your problem. Here is the link:

I did the Phone Repair option on PC Companion.
I tried to take a picture and the phone Froze again. I had to take out the battery to start the phone. Now i cant even make 1 photo and its frozen.

Sorry to say but if the Repair on PC Companion didn't help then I'd suggest to contact your local Sony Mobile office for a possible evaluation option of the handset.
