Smile To Ray or not to Ray?

Hello, one week ago I bought a HTC wildfire S and will be returning it in a few days for a refund due to memory problems from day one.
I've been looking all week for a replacement and sizing all the options I have up for my budget (200). I came across the Xperia Ray and was interested right away.

My question is will it suffer from the low memory issue I'm currently having with my Wildfire S? I mean all I did was add Facebook and two small apps to the Wildfire S and it came up with low memory messages with no option to move Facebook or my flashlight app.

The other phone I'm considering is the Xperia U That and the ray is where I'm stuck at the moment. Do i go with more internal storage on the Xperia U but no room for expansion (no sd cart slot) and lower quality camera. Or the Ray which has everything I want but I'm worried it's just going to be a Wildfire S with a better camera. Can someone help me shed some light please? And if you own a ray can you tell me how it's going so far? Thanks allot for reading.

I have used both, though the Ray for a longer period of time. You should not have the same problem with ray, however there is still a limit on internal storage though it would take considerably more than two applications to generate this error.

Ok thank you. I'm not wanting a super phone so running tons of apps is not what I'm looking for. But I'd hope it can at least run 3 or 4 smallish apps without running into trouble. I'm not one for mobile gaming but have always wanted a phone with a good camera.

I see the Ray has 8mp but only has a light and not a flash, have you noticed this giving you many issues in low light situations?

Thank you for replying.
