Apps not setting date properly for events

So, I originally noticed this problem when using Japan Trains: when I would export a traint route to the calendar on my phone, the date would move ahead a day. For example, if the route was for July 15, it would save in my calendar on July 16. I thought this was an issue with the app but then I noticed that when I look at my facebook events through the app on my phone, all of the dates are also moved back a day AND the time is wrong. Is anyone else having this same issue with any of their apps??

Does the time/date (especially year) settings in the phone match up correctly? I only ask this as I have seen people with the correct date except for the year and this can cause this exact problem.

First Update your phone.....make sure it is up to date.

Open Settings->Date and Time....is it set to use your Network Time/Clock? If it is, try settings it manually. Then see if it makes a difference for your facebook time or your train times.
