How to sync facebook contacts to SE Xperia X10

Hi guys,

Just upgraded my phone to the latest software version about a month ago and I noticed that the display pictures of my contacts are not syncing anymore to facebook. And now i tried to unsync and resync my contact but what happened was all of my phone contacts lost its display picture from facebook (obviously it became worse).

Any idea how can I restore its ability to sync with facebook contacts?
I would appreciate all the responses.

Open your list of Contact. in the top left click the icon that looks like 3 Users.

At the top Contacts with Phone Numbers and Online Contacts should not be checked. But under Phone Contacts, make sure all is checked.

Hopefully that will show your hidden contacts.

Did not worked for me. Still have a lot of people with no contact pictures from fb.. ;(

Under Accounts and Sync, you have added you facebook account and make sure that the sync has taken place?

I haven't done it, but I believe you can choose what you want to sync and it will show the last day that it did a sync.

I would also suggest using the facebook app and logging into facebook, make sure the facebook app is up to date.

Did that as well. And the fb is up to date.. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the facebook app but still, no luck.

Have you tried using any other apps to do what you are trying to do?

Like Facebook PhotoSync or SynMyPix

Or what about removing your current contacts and just importing your facebook contacts fresh. Maybe the contacts you restored from gmail or from your SIM or Memory card are overwriting the facebook contacts.....like a blank pic is overriding the facebook pic.

Sounds good to me. I'll work on it and update on this post. Thanks for bringing up the idea though.
