hi

thank you very very much. i am very happy now. it'samazing hahahahhahah . now i had succcessfully solve the problem of putting wrong pattern several times and lock the phone. hahahahaha. had tried a several times like you say.
theres a emergency call option, select it.
on the call screen press back, you have a split second to select settings.
do it again when you press back it should show your settings menu
you have to be quick and press security
do it again and you should see the require pattern option at the very top.
the next time your on that screen you have enter your pattern as quick as possible, and that should solve the problem.
yhank you very very much..

Here is the forum for your phone:

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro - Android Forums

Is the pattern screen locked? Where you set the lock screen on the phone?

If it is the pattern lock you are referring to, then you are going to need to run the Update Service if the other workarounds posted earlier have not helped:

2) go to emergency call (now heres where its frusterating BE PATIENT)
press the <- back key

3) very quickly press menu, Repeat 1 and 2 then hit security.

4) after this keep reapeting until you complete the patern removal.
the screen will quickly in a second keep going back to the slide screen keep repeating step 1,2. When the phone takes you back to the slide every time you repeat step 1 and 2 when you hit the bak botton the screen will be exactly where you left off.

what you got to go to is Menu, Settings, And Uncheck the (require pattern box) then the tricky and most hard part is entering your pattern You only have 1 second to do so.

*This only works if you know your pattern. My phone got locked because my nephew was messing with it.

More specific if my instructions werent clear. Txt or call 510)367-2118
totally free lol.

I need at least 6 sec for my pattern. Tired.

Thank you soo much for posting this! i have'nt had my phone for 4 days and was going crazy cause i could see i had text messages, missed calls and a voice mail and not being able to see who they were from was freaking me out. It took about 20 to have it work, you do have to be QUICK but the more my sister and i did it the slower it got so that helped ALOT. The "null" and other things didnt work for me either, tried the updating and calling sony ericsson.....didnt help at all. So this my last shot at trying to get my phone back, did not have the money or time to have them send me a knew one or repair. Thanks again this has been a life saver! i have learned my lesson on having a password and keeping my phone close to me and not letting my little cousin touch it.

this will take a few attempts and be very frustrating, but be patient and you wont have to wipe your phone
Will also add that this does indeed work, I just had to do this for a customer at work, You don't need a short cut to the settings, just need to be fast. Be mashing the menu button when you press the back key from the emergency call section and quickly select settings from there.

Oh yes, and try doing this when in addition to the pattern lock the person ALSO has a security lock on their phone that comes up every time you want to access a level of the settings, so putting 4 digits, pressing enter, then doing those steps.

I got a bottle of bubbly and chocolates after loosing my mind for an hour to unlock this thing. The null password and or goggle account unlock wouldnt work on this X10. Evil Phone. Hate hate hate.

Mine has done the same. I do not recall having a Google account on it though, or if I do, I don't remember it. My friend locked me out, she was trying to play music and couldn't figure out the password. I tried the 'null' and got nothing. I'm now trying the thing where I take out the batter, sim and memory card for 10 minutes. Does anyone have anything else I can do that avoids the google login? Much appreciated!

Then you may need to try my recommendation of running an update as this will remove the lock:

I tried this solution, making the password ''null'', and it wouldn't work because I was using my username with the ending @gmail.com. When I switched it to @googlemail.com it finally worked. Just thought I'd post this incase it was happening to anyone else.
