Angry slight annoying problem

hi guys am new to the whole android thing, i have the sony ericsson xperia x8.
one thing i got told was to download the advanced task killer, anyways everytime i kill the apps and games i dont use it makes my signal go off for about 15 seconds then back on again, which i dont mind. the thing that is bothering me is the service tone, it gets realy annoying, i have tried to see if i can turn it off but it doesnt say anything in the user manual.

any ideas? or could it be the type of task killer i am using?

I think it's only the type. There are lot's off task killer apps out there I use Advanced Task Manager and I love it Place the 1x1 widget icon on desktop and you can easily kill all tasks
