[Quick Tut] Transparent Widgets

so here's a quick tutorial..
open the respective .apk file with a archive manager [[ 7ZIP for me ]]
go to

res->drawable->drawable-mdpi

search for file

extract it & make a copy, will edit the copy [just to be on a safe side]

Open the file in a image editor that supports PNG files [photoshop,gimp,etc]
now comes the magic
select all
press "DELETE"
save and close
[Easter Eggs : YES!!You Can.. If you're not a transparenter,
you can change the Color/image too make sure the size is same]
Replace :
- Send the apk to your sdcard
- copy it anywhere in the /system [cuz only there you would be able to change permissions]
- change the permissions as below
- now copy/replace it to the destination folder
(yawnss...)
you're done mate.
I'm Posting it with examples [just to make this tut fun]
everyone has seen the POWERCONTROL WIDGET right?
its in the background image is in Settings.apk
now I extracted the bg image
edited this way
