Sony Ericsson Xperia x8 SIM card problem

I updated my Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 with seus and after the update i opened it.... I filled in the code for SIM and after that the phone has an icon in the top left with a SIM card and a little x next to it. Also i could see only the backgroud image of the phone and nothing else. Then i use the phone without Sim card and it worked normally. What can i do to fix this problem???

plz help!!!!

You may want to have a chat with your network provider and request that they swap your SIM.

i tried and with other SIM cards but nothing happened

In this case it is morel likely that the problem is due to the update no installing on the handset correctly. I would have to advise that you run it again.
