Default Jelly Bean update?

Think the S will get Jelly Bean? Sony has actually been extremely good about updating devices to ICS. Think it will continue with updates to Jelly Bean in a reasonably timely manner?

Obviously it won't be arriving before the GNex or Xoom, but I wonder if a) it will happen at all, and if so b) will Sony be as ahead of the curve as they were on ICS?

Everything is speculative at the moment but if you got ICS quickly you might expect that you'll get JB fairly quickly as well.

I was told yesterday by a Sony telephone tech that JB should be available mid to late August. He also told me that a quad core successor to the Tablet S is expected mid Sep.

Cool. Sony really seems to support their products, certainly in comparison to most other Android devices. If they push JB, that would be what, the fifth OS version they've put on it? Or is it fourth? Did it come with 3.0, or 3.1?
