Hi cfive and welcome to the forums.

I know very little about this phone, but it looks like, at least according to Wikipedia, its the same as the Acro S but with more features. Your model number is the Sony Xperia acro HD SO-03D.

The Sony Xperia acro S (known as the Sony Xperia acro HD in Japan) is a dust and water resistant Android smartphone produced and developed by Sony Mobile Communications.

Xperia acro S fully builds on the success of Xperia acro HD in Japan, which was a bestseller in the country for NTT DoCoMo for 10 weeks since launch in March 2012. The only difference in the global version from the Japanese version is that Japanese-specific features such as infrared port data exchange, mobile wallet and mobile TV functionality are not included. -from Wikipedia
Your Android Version, 2.3.7, would be Gingerbread.

When was the ICS update released for your phone? Try looking in settings > about phone, tap on software update.
