Default Cool games?

Any cool games for this beautiful thing? I tried the following games which run very smoothly:

- Angry Birds Space
- Dead Space
- Grand Theft Auto III
- Sonic CD

I like First Person Shooters and cool 3d Racers, any suggestions?

Games that didn't work: All NFS games + Asassins Creed.

Try Asphalt 6 for a decent racer. Not sure if it works on the Xperia S, but it was great on the Xperia Play.

Yep it was one of the first games I installed on my phone when I got it.

Find it rather addictive lol.

Anyone got anymore good games to add to this list? I've just got GTA 3 but I want a few more. Also has anyone downloaded any PS1 games from the PS Store?

I'm not sure what the fuss is about the PS store - given the games are quite hard to play with touchscreen controls and a resolution far below that of the screen - and expensive too.

May as well just bag an emulator or two and get old games that way if you really want them for nostalgia reasons.

I was only really interested in Driver. I was hoping they'd put up PSP/PS3 minis and PS3 download only games like Burn Zombie Burn. Oh well.

At a resolution far lower then that of a screen?
I assume you mean tv? If so, back in the day when playing ps1 and ps2 games, you had a 720p tv?

I assumed he meant lower than the resolution of the phone's screen. This being the case, they wouldn't look that great unless Sony increased the resolution of the games, which I doubt.

The Sony Xperia S doesn’t differ too much from the Ion: it features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 12MP Exmor R camera sensor, and a 720p display, only here it is 4.3-inches in size. If it looks familiar, it’s because we have seen this... Read More
