Bricked?
I flashed a pre-rooted ics rom without changing kernels now phone is on boot logo loop. it wont get past sony logo. i can get fast-boot tho so how do i revert to a working rom again.

Press and hold volume up and the power button until you get 3 vibrations, your phone is now switched off, now flash again

i dont know what rom will work
i was on 2.3.7 when i bought the phone.

i don't know if i changed kernel... i don't know what i am doing... i first used flash tool in fast-boot mode and selected system.sin to flash then that just did nothing but reset my phone to factory... i then tried flash a pre-rooted ics rom with ics kernel and now my phone isn't working properly cause i didn't upgrade firmware maybe?. could you could help me over team-viewer please. i just bought this phone and now i f**ked it. i can still get into fast-boot and flash-mode. usb debug is off tho.

Don't panic, just flash a stock rom with flashtool, but flash it in flash mode, you haven't bricked your phone yet

you fixed it
i flashed it to ics 4.0.4 only thing to do is add root but how do i do this. any guides?

To add root you flash a custom kernel with fast boot.
I gave used XsX and Doomlord.

rooted with ics 4.0.4. i unlocked boot loader then updated my phone to a legit 4.0.4 rom then flashed a pre-rooted kernel (not the rom just a .elf file) now its working smoothly.
