Default Official Tablet Z Case

The SXTZ weighs only 495g, and this presumably is one of its selling points.

It seems strange to me one would want to then buy the official case, which weighs over half this weight at 295g.

This surely negates part of the reason for buying this particular tablet in the first place . . .

Yeah, I picked my Tablet Z yesterday and there were no cases in the shop for it. Saw the official case on Sony website and was amazed by it's weight & price.

Any recommendations for an alternative case?

Hi,
I first bought the Krusell Luna case from Amazon at £29.95. Didn't like it. It obscured the camera, and the leather frame around the screen was cumbersome. I then bought a used Mulbess case from Ebay at £11.90. Its perfect. I would recommend the Mulbess. It's now £11.65 at Amazon. Here's the link:-

I bought a case by poetic off amazon. I didn't check out weight but I needed something to put the tablet in for around the house. There are quite a few cases out now.

I have only used it once on Monday morning whilst on my weekly commute and it's OK. The tablet fits very snug into the 'clamps'

Just some feedback on my original purchase, not a very practical case and have since replaced it with a new Labato case. This is the best Tablet case ever...and it finished the Tablet off perfectly

+1 for Labato. Slim and light.
