Yea, that's the version I have. Should I flash it from Rom Manager now? Honestly, I've been on Black Plague so long, I rarely use cwm anymore.

I think I got mine from rm, but I don't recall exactly and I don't have the device on me at the moment. Maybe one of the devs can reply with a link and md5.

Heh yea, I finally found your post.

So cm9 looks great for a pre alpha. I'm just stoked it boots! Doesn't seem like he acceleration is activated, but I'm sure that'll come in time.

Awesome work guys.

I'm likening the current pace of development to a car blasting through a police barricade and all the heads turning like "what just happened?"

I just want to put this out there, lets not all just thank TDM. Lets thank all the CM9 developers as all of them have been trying there best. It just so happens TDM got it booted. D2A tried a very long time and PlayfulGod & Biotic are helping out with this. In no disrespect to the ones thanking just TDM, I'm just saying it isn't only him.

Yea D2A has put in a ton of time on this, as have I. Not to take away from the kernel magic etc from tdm, he did a great job on it and I for one appreciate him for jumping in and helping us out.

Its a team effort

Good luck with RIL. Once the radio works, this is going to become my daily driver, with or without camera support.

upgrading to ics or any major upgrade will require a full wipe of your system

Same for me. Can't wait for the radio to be fixed. Thanks again all you devs. Biotic, d2a, tdm, pg, you are all very deserving of donations. If I had the cash, I would totally send you all a donation.

Fortunately, we only have the cdma radio to deal with and that tends to be the one that's easiest to get to work with cm.

The D2 (and I think the dx?) had the same issues with the camera. Ultimately, a HAL had to be written for the D2 to get it to work and even then, the image was flipped. Camera is a low priority for me, so whatevs.

I'm sure you guys thought of this, but the rils from the leak *might* work better than those in the gb rom. Since lg likes to change them in each rom/phone they do, it might help to have rils that are already coded to work with an ICS rom.

sarcasm was included in that... it was to make u feel part of the group? instead of feeling lost and out of the circle...

anyways, i setup my spectrum last night with a pre-paid phone carrier to test cellular reception. i was gtn 1 bar bouncing and flickering once in awhile but i would asume its nothing to get excited over. My wifi did cut out when i set an apn tho... that wasnt suppose to happen? Anyways, il keep tinkering and see what other results i can pick up for you guy's

Don't worry, not everyone here is a kid. I'm 43 and have 4 boys at home.

4 kids and still got time to code? wtf? Shit I got one daughter and barely leaves enough time for immature banter and nonconstructive contribution.. Than again im 24 so maybe im not as wise as I think.. fermenting apple juice to make my own booze is probably evidence of that..

Got the ICS leak onto my phone without using the .tot file (so my bootloader remains unlocked). Basically used the system dump and boot dump along with my kernel and some rc-file tweaks. The radio seems to work, so I'll be using the radio log and possibly strace for clues to fix rild.

Going through the init.rc from the leak....

Manager: "Hey, let's obfuscate our security crap."
Dev1: "Good idea, let's rename the binary to something innocuous."
Dev1: "Here's the new init code, all commented like we're supposed to do."
Dev2: "Looks great, commit it!"
