i love the rom...but i cant seem to be able to restore my address book entirely. Backup assistant gets a network error and skips that step during activation. I tried going back to BP with my contacts fully restored there then installing 3.2.6 but it drops all the phone numbers.

i do believe brian removed backup assistant. You should be bale to export your contacts to your sd card or back up through your google account.

Backup assistant won't work on this ROM. You will a still be prompted for it during activation but all BA programs have been removed

Hey Brian, I'm sorry to bring this up if you are still working on it, but was 3.2.6 support to also fix the font on the dialer. If so I am still having issues with it. Do you know of a way that I would be able to change this myself?

The dialer is a work in progress still. If you know how to edit .xml files you can attempt to fix it. You will have to find out which file it is in, could be the contacts.apk or phone.apk. and the work that has been done on it so far has been in the contacts.apk

someone already did suggest to you that you use google to back them up. But there are also a ton of apps in the market that will back them up as well. I personally use rom toolbox pro to backup my contacts.

For some reason, Microsoft Outlook is not an option under the Accounts & Sync Settings. Does anyone know how to set up Outlook on this ROM? I need constant access to work emails. TIA

Did you try exporting your contacts to your SD card and then importing them once you install the ROM? Works flawlessly for me every time.

accomplished by opening contacts, menu, more, import/export, export to SD card. Same to restore them, just choose import instead.

I use Moxier email since I bought the app before having this phone with a secure outlook access. When I first got the phone I used the outlook on it but since the company I work for is really strict on security they took out the access to to turn off a pin code for the lock screen, and that annoyed me to all hell.

Anyway just so you have the info in case you want it there is a free version that will only let you use it for a certain trial period, but it's 20 bucks after that. But I love that I only have type in my pin when using the app instead of every time I unlock my phone.

I love this ROM, but the latest version has an annoying unlock animation that I can't seem to get rid of. Anyone know how?

Hate to tell ya but the animation is packed in with the framework.only way to get rid of it is to put the stick animation pack back in the framework. Easy to do if ya know whatYour doing. Sorry you don't like.

I hope I didn't insult... It's just not my thing. I prefer the unlock to just fade. But, it's not something that will prevent me from using this ROM, it is excellent in every other way.

No insult taken.if you have the 3.2.5 room on yr sd card just un zip it go to /system/framework/framework-res copy it then go to/system/framework on your phone it and paste and reboot

I wanted to say thank you for this awesome ROM.. If I just didn't get laid off for a week I would buy you an energy drink, so I will just give you an I owe you for now until I get caught back up. Not to thread jack so could some please PM me on how to enable Zram. I have never messed with terminal emulator and have been scared I might mess something up but I want to try and do this. I just don't know what to type or any of that and what setting I should useuse

It's actually quite easy to enable.open terminal emulator type sum hit enter then type Zram enable and hit enter then it's done hit menu and close window

And allow superuser access when it asks

Lol, I don't know how someone can use that keyboard. I have to use smart keyboard pro otherwise i type some interesting things with lots of "." Instead of spaces between words

Thanks. It turns out if I choose to not have any animations on it goes away, which is fine by me because I use Go Launcher and it has its own animations and effects.

actually i love swype. For me it's far more accurate than any other method of typing. I just knew it was a swype mistake because I knew brian used swype

Well guys sorry to say but the fix didnt work for MMS. i gotta say thanks to death2all110 for the support. but i will be re theming the mms from stock source on next attempt seeing as doing a kang on it didnt do the trick. sorry guys. will get it fixed as soon as i can. but thanks for using the ROM . might have possible dialer fix tomorrow as well. keep your fingers crossed.

You're doing a great job, this ROM is awesome, except for the little problems that you are working to fix. I will say this, Instagram has not had the black picture problem since I started using your ROM. Not sure why that is, but that's good news to my ears for sure.

Personally, I use GoSMSPro for all my texting and mms needs, so I never even noticed an issue.

I guess the car dock apk is gone from this ROM? My phone was having a fit this morning. the car steering wheel kept piping up and closing whatever I had open. When I went to delete it, it wasn't there. Anyone have a fix for this?

Is the problem getting them or sending? I have not tried to send one yet but I'm receiving them.

the problem is sending them. i have recruited Shinyside to theme our mms.apk so we can have a fully functioning one.

Not a big issue, but in the pull down menu, the wifi bar stays lit up both on and off.

I can't receive them either, just found that out last night. Also, when if I do try to send or receive one, it borks my connection so that, for instance, Facebook won't open until I reboot the phone.

So far your latest update was a huge leap from your initial release. I've just flashed your update and somehow I haven't encountered boot looping....yet.

I've also noticed that with the Google Apps, I was restlessly looking for the Youtube application, its not an issue I just trolled myself is all. Still very nice update and I'm liking the transitions all around the OS.

Thanks for that, B. Great Rom. Impresses the folks I share it with who are playing on their little iPhones. I was having a little trouble with FC's using Google Voice search application - I uninstalled it - and then reinstalled. No luck. Everything else on the ROM seems to work perfectly...any ideas (sorry if I missed this issue elsewhere in the thread...)...great work!
