Yeah thats definitely true. I'm no fan of Sonnen's and I think it shows poor judgement by the UFC allowing him back into the title picture so quickly. But he draws, thats all that matters to them in the long run.

Man, have I lost track or what?

The last time I tuned in regularly was during the times when the big guys, Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell fought and had two rematches.

I've got to start watching again.

Nowadays many people consider themselves UFC fans but don't even know what MMA is. I was talking to a guy about Pride and he said that it wasn't MMA because it wasn't UFC... I had to change the subject shortly thereafter.

The Pride days were some of the best in MMA history. Wanderlei, Cro cop, Hendo, Fedor, and countless others all in their prime! I actually am going on amazon today to look for the Pride dvd ( or blu-ray if they have it) set with some of the best fights of all time. I love watching the old Pride fights.
