i have clubs, Cobra's, a decent Nike bag but i don't know if what i do on the course can be called "golf"...probably more like "flog", (golf backwards....lol) but i really do enjoy the sport and need to play more often. it's been nearly 2 years......
I haven't played in years.. but it's a grand game. My clubs are antiques even lol.. Spalding irons and Wilson woods. I played for my high school and had my game in the high seventies to low eighties back in the day. I gave up the sport for many years and returned a couple of decades ago for a year or so. I absolutely sucked!! The luxury of playing in school is we shot nine to twelve holes every day during the season and went to a tourney every weekend. Even a lousy golfer such as myself becomes respectable with that much practice. Only the rich and famous and the pros get to work that much on their games normally. Only the very talented can shoot under Bogey golf when they play once a month or so like most people. I can't stand to stink at something so I guess I'll wait until I retire to take the game up again.
Just had my best round, 97! Haha. Only played for about a year but love it. Adams clubs, taylormade driver, nike putter.... pretty cheap stuff but ill wait to hit straight before I spend money.
Yea I've got a viscous drive/3 wood but I need to work on staying consistent.
On an average day I easily shoot in the mid 80s. Good day low 80s. Bad day 90s.
I have the Mizuno MX 23s iron set and a very old Taylor made 580x but I plan on upgrading to a new driver in the next year.
I use mallet putters and right now I have the Ping Craz.-E

But when marijuana is looked at as so dangerous that it cannot even be acquired via prescription, such as truly dangerous drugs are, it makes you wonder just what the motivation is to keep it criminalized altogether.
I've been playing on and off for about 12 years and started because in high school I got a job at a driving range/batting cage and one of the perks was free golf balls to hit so I took advantage. I lost my swing for about 2-3 years Tin Cup style but now I'm back.
I use Taylor Made r7 irons that I like a lot, even if I overdraw my shots, Nike NDS Driver (5 years old), Cleveland Launcher 3 wood and hybrid and a Ping G5 putter.
On average I shoot in the low 90's (my chipping and sand game usually doom me) but I've shot rounds in the mid 80s and shot rounds in the 100s. I played on Saturday here in NJ but our golf courses took a beating from the flooding/tropical storm.
I go through spurts. Play 2 times a week for months. And then the most recently I had a 13 month lay off. Come back and shoot a 91. had a birdie, 5 pars and knocked in a 30 yard pitch shot to close out the round. It's those shots that keep ya coming back!
I used to love playing golf, but time marches on and the body is not the same any more.My best score was 90, but have chipped in from 70 yds and sunk a bunker shot, flukes I know but as every amateur golfr knows..... it only takes one great shot in your round to make you want to play again
You might not know it by looking at my screen name, but I do golf some. Been playing about 20 years, hovering between 13 & 15 handicap. This year I'm playing in two 9-hole leagues and the Golf Week Am Tour (for the first time).
My bag consists of mostly new clubs I bought last year for my 50th birthday:
Driver Burner 2.0 Superfast (45")
3 Wood: Burner 2.0
5 Wood: Superfast
Hybrid : Superfast 4
Irons Burner 2.0, 5-PW
Wedges 588 49*, 54*, 60*
Putter Old-azz Anser
Will be leaving work here shortly for my Weds night league, FORE
I love the game, but don't have the time or money to play very much. I played a lot more in college, as my roommate worked at a country club, so we played 2-3 times a week for free. Man, those were the days.

I see 3 reasons why you don't have the time or money for golf.
