Best Sporting Story....

Through a lot of reading and surfing I have come across some great funny sporting stories and wanted to know if anyone can share....

One that comes to mind is...

Football (soccer) player Jason McAteer had to fill in passport form and was confused about two questions on application form, one said Company of employment and Position in company. He asked a team-mate what should he put for Company they replied you play for Liverpool so put Liverpool F.C.. McAteer then went on to say I don't know what to say as my position as some weeks I play Right fullback and other weeks the gaffer plays me in midfield.................Priceless, Jason wasn't the brightest crayon in the box.

It'll be a bit before I can figure out what the best sporting story I have is. First thing that came to mind, though, was a football game I was it. Giants vs Eagles at the Meadowlands on a Monday night. Game was an ugly, low scoring affair (10-9 Eagles win. Giants completely outplayed them but couldn't get in the damn endzone). The most exciting part was a fight that broke out between two chicks. This one grabbed the other by the hair and was dragging her down the steps, her head bouncing off each one.

There were plenty of fights that night (as there usually is between Philly and New York fans), but that was the best one. Oh, and I don't advocate violence. But it's cheaper than a UFC pay-per-view.
