From what I understand, EVERYTHING works. As of now, it is bone stock.

It amazes me that the nexus stuff always works so well so quickly.
Best JB ROM I've run so far, I just flashed PA but haven't had any time to play with it yet.
From what I understand the only kernels that would play nice with Skank is Trinity and stock.....Is this still the case? I recently heard that Lean and Air kernel have updated their ramdisk to be compatible with CM10 therefore are now compatible with Skank. Do you know if this is true?

I have only run trinity since you first showed it to me so I have no idea. Sorry I couldn't help.

No worries. I was on Trinity pretty tough until I ran Lean Kernel. Achieved almost twice the battery without sacrificing performance with it. I also have some color settings (you can use Franco's app to adjust) that are pretty much identical to Trinity's if you're really into Trinity's colors.

Off topic from the OP, but how did you get rid of the trinity boot animation after switching kernels? The set up I'm on (under my username) does not have the settings to disable boot animation and the trinity remains after flashing lean? Not that its that big of a deal, but I feel the phone boots faster without it.

Is there any way to change the color settings without having to buy an app, I love supporting devs but I'm on a budget for apps and have pretty much spent all of my app money.

Depends what ROM you're running. You can change the colors using the CM settings in Skank.....Try this in settings>advanced:
Color Multipliers .6,.6,1.0
Then Gamma hit "CM Sett" first then -3,0,5 so DSS Gamma should be 8.
Colors are dark but whites are extremely white and colors are rich.

Lean Kernel is officially CM10 Skank compatible! His latest exp.3 is the one to try......Running great so far! For those who'd like to try this kernel, I have some great color settings you can use to achieve Trinity's colors using Franco's app.

I hate full wipes, oh well this should be worth it. Just got to make sure I back everything up.
I know, it can be a pita! Unless it's a nightly I always start clean....I also start clean when trying a different kernel. The kernel Dev's we have for our devices (not all but most) tend to use their own ramdisk, so when switching from kernel to kernel, you're bound to still have residual from the kernel you flashed prior. When I tried Lean for the first time, coming from Trinity, when I would attempt to use the leantweaks script, some of the options would fc. This was ultimately because of the 2 very different ramdisks these Dev's would use. A clean install fixed it (of course) and now I do it religiously. If you can get that from moving kernel to kernel, imagine what's potentially left behind when dirty flashing ROM to ROM. Again, unless it's a nightly I start fresh. Bottom line is you want to get rid of all those leftovers when moving from build to build!

Really. I've never done clean installs for kernels. I did with trinity initially. Good to know. Any kernel recommendations for this ROM that are as vibrant as trinity. I've tried lean and battery life was good but the colors were not as good.

I always wipe system and caches but leave data intact. It normally works but I guess not this time. Anyone know of an easier way to backup and restore apps than TB? I have used app2zip or whatever its called and really like that but it doesn't back up data. I may just use it and then use TB to restore data.

I have not tried it, but doesn't Google offer app and data transfer now? I use titanium and its not nearly as long to restore as it was on the og. I just used it last night and it took about 2 minutes to completely restore with no hiccups. This phone is so fast. I can download, back up, wipe, install, restore, and configure in under 30 minutes. The og would take an hour. But i hear you, dirty flash is so much easier.

I have never bought the pro version of TB so it takes me forever to restore. I will probably use app2zip to restore apks and then TB to restore data of the apps that i need it to restore.

Dude, if you buy nothing else, pro is def worth it, IMO.
Never uses the app2zip, may need to check this out.

Yeah, if you decide to run lean again I have color settings that are identical to Trinity's, using Franco's app.
I use tb to restore my apps (not app data) since Google doesn't auto restore on skank yet and restore my settings on Nova launcher to get my apps and widgets placed back where they were on my home screens. It's a snap!

Flashed last night. Haven't got a chance to play wit it though. Anyone else tried the theme chooser yet? Impressions? Recommendations?
I'm using Dark Jelly via theme chooser and it's working great! There are plenty of themes that were on CM9 that work on this also. Many themes are currently being updated to be compatible with CM10, I'm looking forward to having plenty of options!
As far as recommendations....SSD White, SSD Red, and Dark Jelly (as you all know) are my favorites. You can find the first 2 on Play and DJ on his thread in themes and apps on XDA.

One of my favs to. And blue looks great on gnex w/ trinity, IMO. And yes it works. I also downloaded outline and uber jelly. The outline looks good if you like the black, white, and greys. Also if you and the cm10 chess wallpaper it adds to it.
Uber is a wip, but is blue themed. Has a lot of potential and I think he already updated. He's released it on xda and root wiki.

Uber is still being fine tuned and cobalt is done. I like both but am running cobalt now because it is more polished. I might try mixer next. Steel blue looks really cool, but it comes with a price tag.

This is one slick set up
Also, I'm glad to hear someone is using the zip combo flasher or whatever that's called.... I never thought it was gonna be a thing for me to do - but it seems like it could be worth it!
