Question Removing stock apps from my Intercept

I recently got an Intercept and I know that I'm probably not going to be using the Voice Search and Voice Dialer ever, but they are always running in the background. I have the ATKiller to help keep them at bay, but they always start back up.

Any way to remove them?

You can use SystemApp Remover to remove stock apps but I tried to remove voice search/dialer and Android completely crashed...

You need to root the phone to remove system apps.

Well that sucks. The stock voice based apps constantly restart after I've killed them.

Ah well... thanks for the help guys.

Yeah, I don't think you wanna mess with those. The common wisdom is now that task killers are bad, and that most programs are running for a reason. Here, read this:

I also think that messing with the voice apps may break your phone or your ability to get to the Market (messing with any Google app or process via root, maybe?).
