We wouldn't be required to use exFAT other than USB mass storage connection convenience.
Thanks for clarifying EM. I was regurgitating something i read elsewhere on here without background check. I know, not like me.. Lol... And just wanted to put it out there, but ultimately I really don't agree with the direction most of the OEM's have been going with non-removable batteries and deleting microsd integration.
Honestly at this point Samsung is running the android game, Long side HTC is look forward to.them releasing phones (: they have had BOSS phones coming out these past few months.
What they fail to mention is that it won't likely be available in the US and the fact that the Note 2's S-pen really is that much better than any stylus on the market. Not really a credible review/comparison overall, but still interesting.

both have great pros...
the pen from the padphone can be used as a bluetooth handset...

Wow, i usually give props to GottaBemobile, but in this case its a total fail. For starters how the heck can you compare two devices that one isn't even out yet. Most of the stuff they wrote state "Details are sparse". Really and you give it the upper hand. Call me back GBM when you actually have the devices on hand and do a through side by side compare.

Now that I look at that article about the Sony Nexus, it could be a fake.
Lots of conjecture about this. People have been posting perspective studies/lines to see if everything lines up (they do). Doesn't mean the images are real, but then this could be some odd prototype that someone got a hold of. A lot of the early LG Nexus pics were called fake at first too, before so many showed up that most believe they're in the right ballpark at the very least.
I'm just curious if we'll see another CDMA Nexus phone out the gate like we did with the Galaxy Nexus, or if it will be GSM only until next year.

Otherwise, we could be looking, at the earliest, a release on 11/25...unless Sprint decides to release both phones at the same time (which isn't typical for 2 superphones).
The Verge also posted a review of the LG Optimus G, for both AT&T and Sprint. Oddly enough, the 13MP camera on Sprint's version (which is essentially the global version) is lacking compared to AT&T's 8MP camera. The comparison pics are like night and day, and make me wonder if a software update could fix that. That said, the AT&T version is full of bloat while the Sprint version is pretty clean. Well, clean for LG, that is... I'm personally not a fan of their skin.
The best news of all this however is that if the rumored LG Nexus is indeed based on this phone, it will likely be one kick-ass device if it gets a storage bump. Those who need a removable battery and/or storage will still need to look elsewhere, but performance on stock JB should be killer (and the rumored 8MP camera may be the better choice if it's like the one on the AT&T Optimus G).
Oh, and PadFone 2... drool.
Edit: October 25th release date for the Note 2 confirmed by Sprint! Drex, you can add that to your list.
I'm staying tuned for the un-subsidized price. I'm guessing it will be much higher than reasonable though.
Sidebar/Off topic. Has there been a way to remove the invasive "features" like S-Face (My nickname for Smart Stay), S-Voice, and others, for the newest Samsung software? I don't want to be S-Face'd.

Following the same business-friendly path, Galaxy Note II is a SAFE™ (Samsung for Enterprise) device, providing the ability to securely sync corporate email, calendars, contacts and sensitive information. SAFE provides a comprehensive approach to making Android devices more secure and manageable for business users. With a thorough quality assurance process in place to test and confirm the Note II enterprise capabilities, SAFE systematically meets the rapidly evolving needs of IT and the growing number of businesses allowing employees to “bring your own device” (BYOD) to work.
That means, no problems for my IT department switching my active sync when I upgrade.
Interestingly enough, I can't seem to find any indication on the formal press release that the $299 price tag is attached to the 16gb version. I really hope that the price tag means they're starting at the 32gb version, just like the Optimus G.

I take it back...I don't want the Padfone 2 (not even an unlocked one to use as a dedicated multi-media device/international phone). No microSD slot = FTL, for me. Complete deal breaker:

Final Answer.
Is the winning prize a free Note 2? ...LOL...well, practically, since Best Buy has an extra $50 waiting for me to use by the end of December and I have gift cards all set to pay majority of the costs!
