Ooh...I really couldn't think about exactly how the flexible oled will come in handy until seeing that 2nd video. Forget the padfone. A Note device that can fold out to an 11 inch tablet, but fold back in to be a 5.5 inch phone in the current physical note 2 dimensions.... sign me up!

Haha sign me up as well. I'm saving my dollars right now.

Seeing that this technology exists now for 2013, I can't wait to see what 2014 will bring. I am really thinking of buying a new phone this summer off contract.

Until I actually see a released product, I'm not going to hold my breathe. We've already seen live project glass demos and those things aren't going to be on the market for a while. So, I wonder what Samsung's projected timeframe would be to actually have devices like they showed in that mock video. Both devices actually intrigued me a lot.
I'm thinking regular Exynos 5 Quad for SGS4. I can't imagine this chipset being ready by May/June.
For all we know it could already be in production. According to Eldar Murtazin on Twitter, Samsung will be finalizing the design for the S4 within the next two weeks. There is still plenty of time. I remember rumors of big.LITTLE months ago, anything is possible.

I agree, I am not going to hold my breathe as well. I remember seeing the videos of the flexible screen a couple years ago from CES. But it is good to know that Samsung is still working on making it happen. Samsung Flexible OLED display Hands-on - YouTube

Seems to me if they squared up the corners on the note2 and ran zero orders they could almost get the 6" screen size in the note without increasing the form factor. The borders don't really do anything anyway...

Meh, high end or go home! Lol. Don't want to hear anything about any other device that isn't the next EVO or SGS4.
LOL you and me both! Starting to get antsy waiting for the new Flagships. Sony's Xperia Z and ZL are both nice, but I know there isn't a chance in hell that Sprint will be carrying them.

Even the original Xperia, I thought was really nice. That's another manufacturer that Sprint hasn't carried in a long time (Similar to how Motorola didn't really have a superphone until the original Photon was announced).

I really wish Sprint would carry a Sony high end phone. Why doesn't Sprint carry them? Is there a reason?
More likely it is Sprint's call. If they wanted a Sony device to offer then they would/should knock down the doors of Sony until they have an applicable device ready to be offered.
The looming question being, would the demand be there to make it profitable? If it is unsure why would Sprint go for it?
Sidenote: curved and bendable screens make me yawn big time, anyone else? I'd rather not have one on my device honestly. I have yet to see a convincing reason why - and concepts are just that, conceptual and not real (yet or maybe never).
One idea I've come up with, that would actually be useful, would be if Samsung could develop the inside of their now ubiquitous 'flip case/cover' (on the Galaxy S III and Note II) to be a durable display screen. I hate flip cases, but if they had a tangible use besides 'protection' they might have a redeeming quality.

I wouldn't mind checking out a Sony Xperia device, but like everyone has stated already - they only build for GSM providers.
I feel blogs are reaching for news articles to post lately. This is one of "Captain Obvious" posts. What makes anyone think Samsung WOULDN'T use the Octa in their next gen devices? These sites need to just stop with, "We need clicks so I'm gonna make sh!t up posts"...
The Optimus G had so much promise. Bumping the Optimus G2 up to a 5.5 inch screen is cool and all, but they need to stick a much bigger battery in that thing, as well as a SD card slot, to compete with what the Note 2 already brought to the table. And a "fall" launch is way too far away to determine if it'll be the 1st to have Key Lime Pie

The more Sam Mobile posts these "exclusives", the more I think they are just feeding up a big plate of BS.
Lol. I don't hold my breath when comes to any rumor from any site. Time will tell if the rumor was really truth or a lie. But most likely Samsung is working on a GS4. Samsung seems to be good at not letting the cat out of the bag to early.
I think it's good for Motorola, but who knows if it's too late (or if Google can revive some of the people who turned away, when Motorola turned their backs on certain phones). Had this been rumored when I was deciding on my last Gold premiere upgrade, I totally would've considered it. I haven't completely turned away from Motorola, but I'll just enjoy my Samsung for the next 2 years (until I'm upgrade eligible again).
If I could get it off contract at a good price, I would consider it. I don't think Sprint is going to let us buy it through the Play Store. I think this is going to be a nice phone. Want to see if it will have an SD Card slot and removable battery. Most likely not.

That would be a potential deciding factor. If this phone doesn't carry any of those things, I'm not even going to give it a second look.

I've no intention of ever buying another Motorola phone. My last being the Photon. I don't like the lack of marketing it didn't receive our the fact Moto abandoned it as quickly as they did.

I used to not care about things like marketing, but,in the ANDROID phone game,I've found it to be a good indicator of the level of support the phone will get.
The PHOTON/ATRIX are probably the best examples of a great phone gone bad w/non-existent marketing,over-priced accessories,& FUBAR'ed software/firmware support.
