I'm still curious to know what SoC Sammy is going with for the SGS4. If it's the big.LITTLE structure, I'll be on that like white on rice. However, I still want to see this rumored Moto "X" device. I'll likely end up having both for shits and gigs.

If the Moto X is as cheap as the rumors state, why not get both? lol
LG trying their hardest to become more of a competitor. The Optimus G was very nice (with exception to no SD card on the Sprint version) and the Nexus phone they built was equally as nice (still, not in consideration with no SD card slot).
Airview without the need of the S-pen? Wow, that's pretty cool...although, I'd still prefer the S-pen.
Meh I don't know. Look at the new BB10 phone which is gesture based. Swipe up to do this, swipe down to do that, sideways does this.
I'm sure it has it's uses, but it seems it would be a bit of a steeper learning curve for the average user. Seems a stylus like the S-Pen would be a bit easier to use.

I think we all knew that Sammy wouldn't include an S-pen with the S4, but whats everyones thoughts on it still possibly having the home button? I like having a home button on the S3, but at the same time, I would rather have on screen navigation keys..

Glad they're keeping the home button, but, just a bit disappointed in the S-Pen news, however,as you,not surprised at all, since the inclusion of the S-Pen would cut too deep into NOTE 2/3 sales.
With this bit of news,my next phone wish-list has changed somewhat,w/the NOTE2/3,M7,MOTO X moving ahead of the SGS IV.
Device(s): SG Note 2 Sprint (Grey) and International (White), & MoPhoQ Sprint
Carrier: Sprint & Unlocked GSM

You don't mind the non-removable battery on the M7?

I'm not ruling anything out until the devices actually become available. If battery life is along the lines of the MAXX/MAXX HD series of phones,I can get past the non-removable battery issue.On-board memory ditto, provided it's a minimum of 32GB,but,if all other things are equal w/another model phone having expandable memory, the decision process gets that much easier to pare the list down even further.

Definitely leaning heavily toward the NOTE 2/3,since I just sold my XYBOARD a couple days ago.
For me I can't do a non-removable battery. I think just the thought of it would bother me. I would be looking at the battery percentage every 30 minutes. lol. After playing with the Note 2 in the stores, I most likely will be getting a Note in the future. I just hope they don't make it too big. I can't upgrade my main line until Feb of next year. The Note 3 will be out then, but I think I can wait for the Note 4. Hopefully the new Notes will have at least 32GB of internal memory. If Samsung makes their phones so that we can put apps on the sd card, then 16GB of internal memory is good.

I totally agree! If it doesn't have a removable battery then no buy. So far it looks like its Note 3, GS4 , or this ''X Phone''......assuming if it has a removable battery lol.
I'm hoping Sprint and HTC has something cookin for the successor of the EVO 4G LTE.
Another thing I don't think I will do is another carrier exclusive. The first EVO was good because it was the first of its kind. It received major support. The Photon 4G was a great phone that received very little support from both Sprint and Motorola. But I still want to see what HTC has in store. I think exclusives really hurt the manufacturer instead of helping them. It can only benefit the carrier. That's just my opinion.

Samsung hit a homerun with that form factor, so why mess with design that people really like? I know some of the hardcore Nexus people hate having any physical buttons below the screen. But I really don't have any issues with it. I actually find it quite handy.
Apple still has that one physical button on the Iphones and Ipads and it hasn't stopped them from selling a zillion of them.
I could see maybe a redesign of the buttons with the S5, but that's a long way off.
Yeah I got one as well. Before my SIII I had a HTC Evo 4G so I'm still on their mailing list. Been reading about this possible render of the M7 on AC and Engadget.
I hope they really come out with something great, HTC could use some positive feedback as of late.

This sounds like a good phone. But I know they will not have a removable battery. Hopefully the battery life will be good. I like the idea of a 64GB version. Maybe this will help HTC get back on track.

Theories about how great it would be if we all had the same model? No thanks.
How great it would be for HTC to just have one magical model? Yeah, ok, if everyone else gets the next Evo version of the M7, maybe.
I agree, EM. The EVO will always be my 1st (and you never forget your 1st...LOL). Even though the 3D strayed me away from HTC, the LTEvo was an extremely nice form factor and, IMO, the best of all the One series releases. If I'm at HTC, I take the EVO form factor and translate that to all the providers, while still allowing the providers to change the name for branding purposes.
This would allow for 3rd party manufacturers to support HTC devices more, as they won't have to come out with multiple products to fit the different form factors.
New interesting tweet from Eldar...
"Save the date for a big announcement - March 14 And keep silence HTC will miss HTC One sales again Like it was in 2012."

Wow, I thought $50 for the phone only was pretty good when I got that from a 3rd party recycling company, but $140 for the OG Evo?...Dang, I should try selling on Craigslist more often.
