MicroCell question...
Hello all. This is my first post. Here is my situation:
I recently put my AT&T wireless account in suspension. I’m unemployed and needed to pare down my expenses. They gave me a huge credit and agreed to leave it in suspension for 6 months. So I got a cheap GoPhone and made do with the $25 plan.
I live in a rural area and have no AT&T coverage in my home (or any other carriers for that matter) so I had to stick with GoPhone as I have a MicroCell to give me coverage. I’m thinking of just buying a Straight Talk SIM card for my Skyrocket and going with the $45 plan. It’s still a lot cheaper than the $120 average I was spending, and I’ve read enough to know that it will work with the MicroCell.
If it works out (and it sounds like it will) I would let my regular AT&T wireless account expire. If I do, though, it sounds as though I will no longer have access to the MicroCell online. I plan to port the number to Straight Talk so I don’t have to add a new number. Anyone know if there is a way to continue to be able to control the MicroCell without an AT&T account?
Thanks in advance for your input!
