I like it. Pretty cool stuff.

I particularly like this:

BlueStacks Android Application Launcher for Windows on Peau Productions Touchscreen TV (Review) - YouTube

If enough interest is shown I'll make a forum for it - though I'm not sure where.

You can even get android tv boxes. Perhaps an "other android devices" area is in order to parallel "android phones" and "android tablets"

Well that's what I was thinking about - I think it would be most used on one of those touch TVs or computer systems..

Otherwise, it's an app you install on computers - correct? It's not a tablet or phone.

We have an other Android devices section. I was debating putting it there vs a subforum to say, applications or lounge etc.

Sorry for putting words in Phases' mouth, but just so you are aware, guides aren't limited to one forum / sub forum. They are expected to work accross multiple forums, often even in device sections you are not familiar with.

Well I was hoping to see a little more interest shown, but I don't mind, I just need to decide the best place for it.

It's a software package you install on a computer.

It's also a software package you can use to RUN a computer- and if there were any even partly mass produced models it could be considered a 'device' forum. Which would make this easier, but there's not.

So really I just need to decide an appropriate place for it. I haven't thought much on it, but I haven't forgot!

Maybe and android "pc tools" sub of android applications. Things like "my phone explorer" would fit there too.

That's not a bad idea. This way multiple things would fit and if anything then got lots of attention we could consider its own forum.

Not sure about "pc" tools though... Computer Application/Tools ... ?

Any all encompassing iteration would be fine. The word computer though... hmmm.

I suppose we'd have to use it. It's just so 1970s

Maybe simply "desktop applications". It fits the hardware type of desktop computers but also the desktop environment of a laptop. We all know in android, they're "homescreens" instead....

Thats not really the point. It won't be the only application fitting this category so the category must incorporate all "computer" OS's

A forum for that? I think a thread would be enough.

Ok just to get something out there for goodness sake, I put "BlueStacks" in the Other Devices section. Mostly because that is the main use I see of it that would be worthy of an actual independent forum.

I realize there will be some other discussion, and that can go either in there or in Applications or Lounge. If there gets to be plenty of it, we'll think on an additional or different subforum.
