a little concerned
Hi,
I went to androidforums when suddenly it transferred me to some teen prn site, I dont know how this is possible. Im really carefull with the apps I install, I always make sure it has a lot of downloads and good ratings. I havent added any apps lately. Im also only browsing to like 4 sites, which im going to for
A long time.
I installed avast virusscanner and scanned the phone and sd card, no virusses found. Im now deleting avast again.
What could have caused this problem? Im concerned because I sometimes us online banking on my phone.

Wow, I definitely need to hear if this happens again with a different user - but at the moment I can confidently say that has nothing to do with us - happenstance.

Just so I'm sure... This is on your phone? What browser specifically?
This is a common symptom of an infected PC/device. You click on a link from google/wherever and the page starts to pop up and you get re-directed to a porn/malware site.
It could be that avast simply didn't recognize the virus. That happens all to often. The virus could be so new the virus scanner doesn't have a definition to see it yet.
Make sure it has the latest definitions, perhaps try a different AV product.
If this was on a PC I would say use Malwarebytes since it is far superior to any Anti-Virus I've ever used...

It was on my phone. I immediately closed the browser (default browser). It cant be found in my browser history, but on favorites it saves an image of the last session on a site and on androidforums you could still see the prnsite. Now not anymore because ive reloaded anfroidforums. Until now it hasnt come back.
Ill try an other scanner. It just weird because I rarely go to other sites then my trusted sites and all apps I have are popular with many downloads and good ratings.

I now also scanned my phone with AVG and trustgo antivirus. Trustgo pointed talking tom the cat as 'high risk' which would be strange since its a really popular app.

Could be a false positive. But it may be because of the ads bundled with it, sometimes those ads are for spammy stuff. You may have accidentally clicked one.
How do you mean you reloaded android forums? You just deleted the bookmark and reloaded it?
If it happens again I would clear cache and/or data from browser
