Question..
Where would I post something that applies to an entire brand of smartphones?
For example, my unbrick guides are basically the same instructions for all LG android smartphones. The only differences for each one would be how to get into download/recovery mode and the firmware they need to download.
The guide I would like to post right now is just how to update/check for updates for an LG smartphone. This one applies to every LG android smartphone.
Edit: I know this is done for carriers. Something like this kind of should exist for phone brands.

I would try here:
LG - Android Forums
Maybe a post in relevant forums with device variants and a link to the general info would work. Good luck and thanks.

No worries my friend, there are a ton of forums on here. Thanks again for helping out an underserved manufacturer.

Yeah, it could easily be linked to in the sticky guides of LG phones.

+1
Could someone sticky it to the non root section of every LG phone?
Except Optimus S and V, those have no firmware on LGs server at all anymore.

No worries... will get it added to the FAQ sticky for each LG phone, except those 2 (unless you let us know otherwise)
