Default [Q] Browser Brightness

I've noticed that my browser brightness when I first open it up is as bright as the screen, then about a half a second later it dims down. I checked the browser brightness settings and it's turned all the way up. It frustrates me to no end. Any ideas?

Yeah I have browser brightness turned all the way up with auto brightness unchecked. I noticed that the brightness is full when I first open the browser and rights as I'm closing it, but it dimes through my browsing.

I've been recently having this problem as well and I'm sick of it! I never had this problem before. I removed the auto brightness and it gets even darker. Arrgh!

I have the Note 2 now with At&t, stock, no root.

I had an issue like this on my nonrooted Note. I unchecked Power Save, closed the browser, then opened it and the screen brightness went back to normal.
