Default Warranty and root?

If I root the note 3 for at&t will it void my warranty even if I don't flash a custom rom? Because the only reason I root is to use apps like game guardian and wifi teather and apps like that.

1) Yes.

2) You can't (yet) flash a custom ROM to the N900A - the bootloader is locked.
