gmail messed up pls healp

gmail messed up pls healp

when i try to open gmail from my homescreen it just says

"(processcom.google.gapps) has stoped unexpectedly please try again"
then i press forclose and its sais
"(processcom.google.android.gm) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again" press forclose and its just closes

can somebody help me?
