Ok fellas (and ladies??), i decided that we should have a countdown considering this is October 1st. Lets keep this thread updated with coming news (newer news than what we already know). And i will enter the date of each day in this format. And keep it updated till we have the BIG DAY! I will also be taking pictures of the phone on said date.

I was driving around the city today form TV station to TV station for work and all I could think about was, "damn.. wish I had my G1.. google maps would certainly useful right now.."
VWs stages are sometimes a joke alot of times people say that because of a chip not understanding PSI is not a linear term.
This is so off topic, but im a huge boosted car whore. The guy i raced said he was stage 2, he had a chip,intake, full turbo back exhaust, downpipe and upped boost to 21 PSI. That sounds about right to me. All in all, i think it was an easy kill for me.

I'm an N/A car buff and have a bit of trubo knowledge I guess you could kinda say thats stage 2 but hes still on his stock turbo and 21psi out of that (probably a ton of heat soak) is like 5-8psi out of a good turbo (tiny turbo outlet = less HP)
MMMMmmmmm boost. My 7.3l PSD runs 26 psi when I'm on the hammer. 4" turbo back exhaust, etc. It's a diesel, and I use it for towing, but I do enjoy surprising the random SU2000, etc....and I'm close to 8,000#.

Being a internet troller for bit of news about our upcoming purchase of the android G1, i had not heard much from TMob, considering the release date is onlt now a bit more than a week away. I pre ordered my G1 on Sept 30th, and since im an existing Tmob customer was given a date of OCT 22 for my phone to be shipped to me. When i called 611 today (tmob's info line), they state my order is on backorder with no estimated shipping date, due to the high number of pre orders !!!! WTF???
Way to go Tmob, telling us our orders would be pre shipped for those of us that ordered right after the relase notes of the G1, if my phone comes later that oct 22 I would have been better off just standing in line at the retail store on the same date and getting the phone that way, what a waste! The rep actually told me to call back on Oct 22 and get an update.

I dunno, everyone is told something different. Like me, i was told i would RECEIVE it on the 22nd. Some people stated that they will be shipped on the 15th, thus having some people receive it early. Who knows....

Thank goodness I have a business trip for a few days to distract me. I then go on a cruise not too long after I get the device, so I'll have the G1, but no service. =/

When I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise, there wasn't. In fact, they charged a rather crazy amount for internet access period. I can't remember what it was, but my parents didn't want me spending more than 10-15 minutes on it per day.
They've got wifi, but it's $50 for 100 mins, and $3.50 connect fee. Still kinda pricy. Maybe I'll get lucky and find an open AP in Jamacia/Cozumel/Grand Cayman. =D
