I've been playing with the GPS on my G1 a lot lately, especially trying out Google Maps' Navigator Beta. I noticed that the phone is getting really warm. Should I be worried? Is there something I need to replace? Or is this just a flaw I'm going to live with?
p.s. I did a search, and didn't see anything specific to the G1 that answered, yes or no, this is/isn't a problem...
It is normal, Soniablue. All of our G1s heat up under heavier use. Even my older phones would warm during a lengthy call. Use more electrons, generate more heat.
Do I need to worry about GPS heat?
