Caller ID problem on T-Mobile G1 Phone

I have today noticed that all calls to my google phone are being announced as coming from 'unknown'.
When i look back in my call log i notice this started on the 7th of June.
T-Mobile's customer support have suggested that one of the apps I have installed on my phone could be the cause of the problem but the only way to correct the problem would be to do a factory reset.
Does anyone have any less drastic solutions to this problem?

Google voice software mucked up my phone logs a while ago, they would disappear! It was kind of pointless especially since I didn't have an account and had the software installed.

I uninstalled and voila problem fixed.

I know you have a problem but this might be the cause.

In case its not you can try uninstalling other phonebook type apps that you have installed recently.
