I'm having some infuriating issues with my T-Mobile G2-Touch/HTC Hero and just wanted to check on here before going in-store and having it out there.

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere in a different forum/thread.

Generally had few problems until the latest over-the-air system upgrade a couple of months ago. Since then its getting to the point where i miss out on receiving text messages and now phone calls off people. My phone indicates that i am in an area with reception and its off a variety of people with different phones which suggests its a problem with my phone and not theirs, and so essentially my phone is virtually useless.

I've checked that i'm not using a task-killer or similar or any other apps that is affecting my messaging or call status and i've tried a factory reset on more than one occasion. This tends to make things a bit better in the short term but i start to get the same problems again fairly soon afterwards.

Obviously this is a fairly big issue that essentially makes my phone an expensive but useless piece of technological tat and i just wondered if anyone else had been suffering from similar problems or had any ideas beyond going into a shop and having it looked at there :-s
